Work Authorization
By approving a project quote or requesting services, the client authorizes SoCal Digging Operations LLC to perform the work described in the project scope.
Site Conditions
Clients acknowledge that excavation and subsurface work involve unknown conditions including:
- Soil variability
- Underground utilities
- Groundwater
- Obstructions
The Company is not responsible for conditions that were not disclosed prior to executing work.
Utility Location Responsibility
The client is responsible for ensuring that all underground utilities have been properly located and marked prior to digging. The Company is not responsible for damages caused by:
- Unmarked utilities
- Incorrectly marked utilities
- Incomplete utility information
Safety Conditions
The Company reserves the right to stop work if:
- Site conditions are unsafe
- Proper utility marking is not completed
- Weather conditions create hazards
The Company will make a best effort to repair most damaged utilities to the fullest extent possible.
In the event a broken utility is deemed hazardous, dangerous, or life threatening, the Client is responsible for notifying proper personnel or authorities and rendering the appropriate professional services to repair said damages.
Payment
- Invoices must be paid according to the payment terms specified in the quote.
- Late payments may result in additional fees.
Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoCal Digging Operations LLC from claims arising from:
- Inaccurate site information
- Unmarked utilities
- Unsafe work conditions provided by the client
Cancellation
Work cancellations may be subject to cancellation fees depending on notice timing and mobilization.
